Jim recently joined the Trinity staff after retiring after 25 years as a Partner, Director of Portfolio Management & Chief Investment Officer of Criterion Investment Management Company. While at Criterion Jim's responsibilities included managing between 6 to 12 billion dollars in fixed income institutional portfolios, meeting with clients and business groups to discuss their investment results and Criterions current economic forcast, In addition he managed a staff of between 10 and 20 investment professionals.
Garry and his wife Evey have been with Trinity since 1977. They have been blessed with two children and two grandchildren. Garry has served Trinity in several roles over the years and today his responsibilities include Christian Education outside the Day School (Midweek School, 1st year Confirmation instruction, and Bible Classes), seniors, singles, scouts, benevolent and family ministries. Garry believes in making teaching the Word paramount in the life of a congregation. His passion for ministry is reflected in his own response to his favorite verse from I Samuel 3:9, " Speak Lord, Your servant is listening."
Dr. Richard (Rich) Noack is our senior pastor and has been serving the Lord with Trinity Lutheran Church since 1993. Rich's personal ministry statement is all about the true and strong love of our Savior Jesus and how living in this truth transforms our lives. Rich loves to connect people to Jesus through the Word.
Pastor Patterson has been serving the Lord in the Pastoral Ministry since 1986 and has been at Trinity since 1996. He finds great joy in pastoral care ministry, leading worship, and in preaching and teaching God's Word in all settings.
Pastor John Cordrey joined the Trinity team on June 1, 2009. He will serve Trinity as the Minister of Community Outreach. Pastor Cordrey strives to make worship, relevant, meaningful and life-changing. He believes the culture of the local church and its heart for welcoming and reaching out to the community — not a particular style of worship — is what grows God’s kingdom. He also believes that serving others and having the desire to build the Kingdom is the most important value of a church.
On September 9, 2007, Dr. Bill Brusick was installed as the Minister of Music at Trinity Lutheran Church.
Trinity has been blessed with the service of Liz Brooks since 1999. She and her husband, Michael have two grown children and two grandchildren. Even before you meet Liz, you'd probably guess that she has a heart for children and it shows forth in her own faith. Isaiah 11:6, "...and a little child shall lead them." is the passage that tells us how the Christ child will come to bring peace to the world. Liz's ministry at Trinity gives her the privilege to build hearts for Jesus in our precious young children while growing in her own faith by daily witnessing the children's examples of love, kindness, faith, and forgiveness.
Joel has been a part of the Trinity family since 1995. He graduated from Taylor University, in his home state of Indiana, and began his teaching career in Texas. After 11 years of teaching and part time youth work, He felt God’s call to move to full-time youth ministry in 2005. Joel and his beautiful wife, Amantha, were blessed with a son, Jacob, in December of 2003 and a daughter, Sara, in 2007. Joel has a passion for working with students and adults to share the gospel with our community, developing deep, lasting relationships and to strengthen our God-given faith.
Trinity created a Business Director position in 1994 and Jim has serving the Lord and Trinity in that role since then. If you read on, you'll learn a great deal about how the Lord prepared him for this role. Bill and his wife Doris have three children and eight grandchildren. Bill joined Trinity's staff in 1999. Bill feels his life experiences were used by God to prepare him for his work at Trinity today. Bill is an "Enabler." Through his service to Trinity, he enables all of us to carry out our various aspects of ministry in a well-maintained, efficient environment. His work is reflected in the scripture, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not men." (Colossians 3:23)
Cheryl was born in Irving, Texas and thus is a devoted Dallas Cowboy fan. She was baptized at Zion Lutheran in Dallas, and confirmed at Christ Lutheran in Jacksonville, TX. She comes from a family of Lutherans, her grandfather was a Pastor and she has several aunts and uncles who have taught in the Lutheran School system for years.
