Both our first and second year confirmation students will meet for small group lessons and fellowship on the first Wednesday of the month.  While the students are engaged, parents are also asked to attend a special adult meeting in FLC room 116 from 5-7pm.

Both the first and second year students will have an opportunity to fellowship with their classmates and enjoy a camp experience at the Confirmation retreat.

2nd year students (& parents who woud like to attend) will spend a weekend focusing on their baptism.  The "COME TO THE WATER" retreat take place on September 26-28.  We will enjoy skiing and tubing on Lake Conroe.  We will spend the first night here at Trinity and the second night at 1000 Trails camp ground.  Tents and boats are needed for the trip.  If you are willing to let us use either, please contact the youth office.

1st year students (& parents who would like to attend) will also attend a retreat on April 3-5 at Camp Lone Star.  This retreat will focus on the Creeds and Worship.  Along with the fellowship with classmates, students will enjoy challenge courses and water activities.  If you are a registered member of the confirmation class, there is no cost for these retreats (they are covered by your registration fees).  However, if any parents would like to attend, there will be a small charge to cover expenses.  Contact the youth office with any questions.

NEW! Guy / Girl 8th Grade Retreat.

To finish off the year right, we invite all newly confirmed students to attend our Lake Retreat held June 16-18, 2009 at the Pabor Lake House on Lake Livingston.  The guys and girls each get their own day on the lake as well as a shared day with the entire group playing in the water, building memories, and getting connected to our High School ministry.  Make sure to mark your calendars for this important date!

If you are a Junior High student and not participating in the Trinity day school confirmation program but would still like to become a member of our congregation, here is your chance.

MIDWEEK

Every Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 we will meet in the chapel and move to the PIER for classes on Lutheran doctrine.  Come be a part of the family as we learn about our Great God and the faith He has given us.

LIFE'S FLIGHT

Each year our 2nd year confirmation class takes a trip through the life cycle. 
All members of the Trinity Lutheran Confirmation Class of 2009 will be leaving on their “Life’s Flight”  Friday, April 17th @ 6:00. No Luggage necessary, however, it might be wise to bring a jacket as weather conditions could change. Please check-in at the counter in the Flc to receive your boarding card. You will receive instructions on boarding procedures at 5:50. Please arrive at your gate (FLC) by 5:45, otherwise all stand-by passengers will be cleared.
