Membership
If you are transferring from an active membership in a LCMS congregation, you are not required to attend an Adult Membership Class. However, we strongly encourage you to participate in the class to allow you to meet others in a time of fellowship and to form a relationship with a member of our pastoral staff.
For those new to Lutheran Christianity, attendance in an Adult Membership Class is required for membership. Additionally, we encourage active participation in worship and Bible study for those desiring membership. Any adult, child or infant who has not already been baptized in the name of the Triune God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) must be baptized on or before the date he/she is publicly received into membership.
Want to become a member of Trinity? The New Member Class provides an overview of Lutheran doctrine, our beliefs, and what it means to be a Christian in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. Additionally, we talk about Trinity's values and mission and our ministry. Next New Member Seminar will be:
August 28 (Sat) 8:30am-12:30pm Session 1
August 29 (Sun) 9:30am-10:30am Spiritual Gifts/Orientation
1:00pm-6:00pm Session 2
Attendance at all sessions is required. Classes will be in the Family Life Center Room to be announced.
Childcare through 5th grade is available. Please indicate your childcare needs when registering.
*For Sunday morning session, childcare is offered for infants through Kindergarten in our staffed nursery. Children age 2 through High School may attend the regular Sunday School classes offered during this time.
Future Class Dates: November 13-14, 2010; February 26-27, 2011; May 21-22, 2011

We're glad you are considering joining the Trinity family! Jesus said He came to give us adundant life and His free gift of salvation is offered to all. But we also have a great need to nourish and feed that faith by fellowship with other believers. Active church membership is an important part of our spiritual nourishment. The Lutheran Church has a tremendous heritage of education. We believe that a thorough understanding of the basic Christian beliefs is an essential foundation every Christian should have. For children who grow up in the church, this education comes in two years of instruction known as confirmation. For adults joining the Lutheran Church at Trinity, we provide a Membership Class which provides instruction.
