Trinity Time FOR Women

We believe that God passionately loves women and has a wonderful purpose in mind for them.  The purpose of this ministry is to help women to love God with their whole heart; to love their sisters in Christ with a pure, strong love; and to zealously serve their church and the world around them with a sweet, self-sacrificing spirit.

"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: ..a time to heal...a time to build...a time to laugh...a time to dance...a time to embrace"  Ecclesiastes 3:1, 3, 4, & 5

 ...and a time for WOMEN.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

May God's grace be upon this shawl.....
Warming, comforting, enfolding and embracing.

shawl_hands.jpgIf you knit or crochet, you already know the comfort and tranquility found in the repetitive rhythm of the process. While your hands are busy, your mind can be emptied of anxieties and details created by the chaos of modern day life. We can enter a world of contemplative knitting, repeating the pattern of three representing The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost. We can reconnect with our Father and His desires for us. We are humbled by the Grace and the gifts He has so generously given us. And we can pray that the shawl we are creating will remind someone of the love and comfort He has available for each and everyone of us. We are never alone!

Lydia Guild

The Lydia Guild is a group of ladies who love to serve the Lord through serving others. Our monthly meetings are held in the evening to accommodate ladies with full schedules during the day. Devotions for our spiritual enrichment are followed by delicious refreshments and a short business meeting.

Regular Meetings: FLC Room 116, 7:30pm 3rd Tuesday of each month.  Come Join Us!

Some of our special projects include preparing layettes, sewing kits and other items for Lutheran World Relief (LWR), donations to college students enrolled in full-time church work programs, and the funding of national and international missions through mite offerings.

We continually collect used prescription eyeglasses and frames for the Orphan Grain Train. They are distributed to those in need around the world. We also collect canceled postage stamps that are sold in bulk to support mission work. Please trim them leaving at least 1/4 inch of the envelope around each stamp. The third item we collect year around is soap for LWR. We can use any size bar but it must be wrapped due to health regulations. The  glasses, stamps, and soap can all be placed in the bin for the Food Pantry outside the Church office. Please label the bag "LWML Soap".

Our projects are supported by contributions from Trinity members and we partner with Thrivent for Lutherans to prepare and serve meals prior to Wednesday evening Lenten worship services.

MOPS

Trinity Lutheran Church believes in caring for their community.  One specific group they seek to minister to is mothers, and they do this through the program of MOPS.  MOPS, Mothers Of Preschoolers, purpose is "to nurture every mother of preschoolers by meeting her distinct needs to the glory of Jesus Christ." Trinity partners with MOPS international to bring the message that "Mothering Matters" to all moms in our community.

MOPS is a Christ-centered ministry that meets together twice a month on Monday mornings to share in a hot meal, encourage friendships, share prayer requests, listen to speakers and even complete a craft.  While you are doing all that, your children are being very well cared for in our MOPPETS program.

You are not alone.  Join us…

In 2010, MOPS invites you to join in the learning process as together we explore Momology: The Art and Science of Mothering.

Mothering is both art and science. It combines all of who we are to shape healthy, resilient kids. Mothering is so complex it requires both sides of our brain – not to mention our hands and feet, eyes and ears, mouth and (sniff, sniff) unfortunately, sometimes even our noses!

There's the scientific side of mothering where we develop a hypothesis based on certain principles, test that hypothesis in real-time, consider the results and decide what parts worked and what parts didn't. We keep refining our hypotheses until we find what works for us.

Intertwined with the scientific, mothering requires an artistry that shades with our personality, colors with our unique gifts, and blends past and current experiences.

Anywhere we go, God sees, knows, and guides. So we can lead — and love — knowing God will get us through all the hard spots, all our decisions, all our roles, all our times we can’t hold open our eyelids and the times we’re bursting with joy. God’s hand guides us as we guide our children. As we study Momology together to become better moms making a better world.

Come join us as we “do life” TOGETHER...

We have two groups that meet on Monday mornings from 8:45 AM to 11: 15 AM; MOPS A meets the 2nd and 4th Mondays and MOPS B meets the 1st & 3rd Mondays.  Registration is open now please contact:
