If you knit or crochet, you already know the comfort and tranquility found in the repetitive rhythm of the process. While your hands are busy, your mind can be emptied of anxieties and details created by the chaos of modern day life. We can enter a world of contemplative knitting, repeating the pattern of three representing The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost. We can reconnect with our Father and His desires for us. We are humbled by the Grace and the gifts He has so generously given us. And we can pray that the shawl we are creating will remind someone of the love and comfort He has available for each and everyone of us. We are never alone!
The Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML), with a membership of over 250,000, is the official women's organization of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. The LWML focuses on affirming each woman in her relationship with Christ to enable her to be in ministry among the people of the world. For over 60 years the organization has been encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries and to financially support global missions.

The Anna Circle, also known as the Altar Guild, is a group of ladies that are responsible for preparing for Communion, changing the paraments (altar cloths), and ordering flowers for services. In addition, they will launder the acolyte robes when needed, and decorate the church for special services such as Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.
