Houston Youth Quake

All 7th and 8th grade students and parents are invited to attend YOUTH QUAKE 2009.  We will attend the event along with other Lutheran youth ministries in the Houston and surrounding areas.  2 bands, great speakers (This year is BILL YONKERS), crazy sesions and tons of fellowship. 

Early bird sign up ends September 30th and costs $135

Regular registration ends November 30th an is $150

Late registration ends December 31st and costs $165 if space ifsavailable.

REV

REV is a fun and exciting evening for all 6th - 8th grade youth in the Spring/Klein area. It consists of loud music, video games, sports (in the Old Gym) open game room, pizza and drinks, singing and a devotion. This year we will meet in THE PIER for all of the fun.  Bring money for food and drinks if you want otherwise it is FREE!

Wednesday REV Schedule:
7:00 - 7:30 Registration and Pizza
7:00 - 8:00 Games, sports, music and fun.
8:00 - 8:30 Singing and Devotion

Both the first and second year students will have an opportunity to fellowship with their classmates and enjoy a camp experience at the Confirmation retreat.

2nd year students (& parents who woud like to attend) will spend a weekend focusing on their baptism.  The "COME TO THE WATER" retreat take place on September 26-28.  We will enjoy skiing and tubing on Lake Conroe.  We will spend the first night here at Trinity and the second night at 1000 Trails camp ground.  Tents and boats are needed for the trip.  If you are willing to let us use either, please contact the youth office.

1st year students (& parents who would like to attend) will also attend a retreat on April 3-5 at Camp Lone Star.  This retreat will focus on the Creeds and Worship.  Along with the fellowship with classmates, students will enjoy challenge courses and water activities.  If you are a registered member of the confirmation class, there is no cost for these retreats (they are covered by your registration fees).  However, if any parents would like to attend, there will be a small charge to cover expenses.  Contact the youth office with any questions.

NEW! Guy / Girl 8th Grade Retreat.

To finish off the year right, we invite all newly confirmed students to attend our Lake Retreat held June 15-17, 2009 at the Pabor Lake House on Lake Livingston.  The guys and girls each get their own day on the lake as well as a shared day with the entire group playing in the water, building memories, and getting connected to our High School ministry.  Make sure to mark your calendars for this important date!

Both our first and second year confirmation students will meet for small group lessons and fellowship on the first Wednesday of the month.  While the students are engaged, parents are also asked to attend a special adult meeting in FLC room 116 from 5-7pm.
